I’m an award-winning Happiness Psychologist and business mentor and these days, I spend a lot of my time helping small business owners make their marketing feel lighter, more human, and far less like a performance.
I’m also mildly obsessed with joy.
For me, joy isn’t fluff. It’s practical. It’s what happens when your business supports your life, instead of constantly asking for more from you.
My own small businesses have paid for 11 “once-in-a-lifetime” trips to Disney World and Disneyland, and they’ve funded plenty of the good stuff in between too.
I am the founder of The Happy Business Company, where I bring together psychology, business mentoring, and AI support that keeps you in the driving seat.
Because the answer is always AI plus human.
And to have a BIG Dare to Dream goal and a daily plan to move closer to it.

That’s what I mean by “happifying” the world.

An eternal optimist. I choose joy whenever humanly possible.
My life isn’t perfect – but it’s a joy. I love waking up in the morning, knowing that I’m spreading joy around like confetti and helping others live out their dreams and in turn, spread their joy to the world.
I have wobbles. Off-days. And I’m figuring out this whole “mothering adult children” thing without a manual.
But even in the messy bits, I try to choose joy. Not the glossy kind. The grounded kind. The kind that comes from making life simpler, getting support where you need it, and spending less time forcing yourself through things that drain you.
That’s one of the reasons I’m such a believer in AI plus human. It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters, with more ease. You stay in control. AI helps with the heavy lifting. You get more of your energy back.
