How did you cross paths with Julie and Happy Side Hustle?

Not sure when I first noticed Julie and the Happy Side Hustle Hive. I had always made things but wondered if I could turn a hobby in to an income stream so did the free five day challenge.

How did you feel when you found out about the challenge?

I found it really exciting.

Why did you decide to join it?

I made the decision to join the Hive to keep myself motivated and draw on Julie’s expertise.

Being challenged.

What was your biggest takeaway or a-ha moment from the challenge?

That a side hustle needs to be fun and joyful.

What is your next big goal?

My next goal is to develop a passive income: I have been designing felt designs and making the patterns and designing embroidery patterns.

Did you have any experience running your own side hustle before? How did that go and what do you know now that you didn’t know then?

I have been making for years but as a hobby, often people would say ‘you should sell these’. I wish I had started sooner as I’m not the fastest learner!

What’s your biggest tip for someone who’s considering setting up a side hustle?

My biggest tip is ‘you’ll never know unless you give it a go’.
